Overview of EB-2
To be qualified under EB-2 category, the beneficiary must possess a master’s degree or higher in the relevant field or has a bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of progressive work experience in the field.
The EB-2 category is also available for person with exceptional abilities who satisfy certain criteria.
Eligibility Requirements
EB-2 under general category
- A master’s degree or above
- Bachelor’s degree plus five-year progressive experience in the specialty
- A profession requiring a master’s degree or higher.
EB-2 under exceptional ability category (must satisfy at least 3 criteria below)
- Documents of academic background in the field of your exceptional ability
- At least 10 years of full-time experience in your occupation
- A license or certification to practice your profession
- Higher salary showing your exceptional ability
- Membership in a professional association
- Evidence of achievements and significant contributions in the related fields
- Other evidences proving eligibility
