NIW Overview

National Interest Waivers are usually granted to those who have exceptional ability and whose employment in the United States would greatly benefit the nation. An alien with exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business, who has outstanding achievements in fields, can be qualified under NIW category. A qualified professional who seek for a National Interest Waiver does not require an US employer to apply for a green card application.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible under this category, the professional must satisfy at least three of the following requirements:: 1. Master’s degree in the field of your exceptional ability; 2. At least 10 years of full-time experience in your occupation; 3. A license or certification to practice your profession; 4. Higher salary showing your exceptional ability; 5. Membership in a professional association; 6. Evidence of achievements and significant contributions in the related fields; 7. Other evidences proving eligibility
