Overview of EB-3

The EB-3 category divided into 3 sub-categories according to the qualification requirements of the US employer.   EB-3 employment petition must be accompanied by an approved, individual labor certification from the Department of Labor on Form ETA-9089.  

EB-3 Classification

  1. EB-3A: This sub-category is for a professional, whose job offer requires at least a US bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent
  1. EB-3B: This sub-category is for a skilled worker, whose job requires at least of 2 years of training or work experience in the field, not of a temporary or seasonal nature
  1. EB-3C: This sub-category is for an unskilled worker, whose job requires less than 2 years of training or experience in the field.
